The following was printed on Phoenix Duncan's Hall of Fame Plaque:
Phoenix Duncan is widely regarded as the most accomplished high jumper in Siena Heights University track & field history. A seven-time NAIA All-American and national champion, Duncan achieved unparalleled success at the national level throughout her career. She captured the NAIA Indoor National Championship title during the 2014–15 season with a winning jump of 1.74 meters. In addition to her national title, she finished as the national runner-up on four occasions and added two more top-four finishes at NAIA National Championship meets.
Duncan qualified for every NAIA National Championship meet for which she was eligible and played a key role in leading the Saints to four top-ten team finishes at the national level, including a program-best third-place finish at the 2016 NAIA Outdoor National Championships. At the conference level, she claimed seven WHAC high jump championships and was named WHAC Most Valuable Performer at the 2016 Outdoor Championships. Duncan holds both the Siena Heights and WHAC Outdoor Championship records in the high jump with a mark of 1.79 meters, solidifying her legacy as one of the elite high jumpers in NAIA history.
