Julia Forbes was a standout sprinter and jumper for the Saints and one of the most accomplished performers of her era. Over her career, she earned three NAIA All-American honors. Forbes recorded a third-place finish in the long jump at the 2019 NAIA Outdoor National Championships with a leap of 5.91 meters and followed with a fourth-place finish at the 2019–20 NAIA Indoor National Championships, jumping 5.77 meters. Her final All-American honor came as part of the 4 × 100-meter relay, where she helped set a school record while finishing fourth at the 2019 NAIA Outdoor National Championships with a time of 46.43 seconds.
Forbes qualified for and competed in four additional NAIA National Championship events, including finishes of 17th in the 2018 Outdoor Long Jump, 19th in the 2017–18 Indoor Long Jump, 21st in the 2018–19 Indoor Long Jump, and 23rd in the 2019–20 Indoor Triple Jump. She helped lead the Saints to two top-10 team finishes at the national level, placing seventh at the 2019 NAIA Outdoor Championships and eighth at the 2017–18 NAIA Indoor Championships. At the conference level, Forbes earned two third-place finishes at WHAC Championship meets and was recognized five times as a WHAC All-Academic honoree. She was also a member of the Hall of Fame 2016–17 Women’s Track & Field team.
