Asia Gardner was one of the most prolific sprinters in Siena Heights history, earning eight NAIA All-American honors during her career. As part of relay teams, Gardner helped the Saints finish third in the 4 × 100-meter relay at the 2017 NAIA Outdoor Championships (46.81 seconds), fourth in 2019 while setting a school record of 46.43 seconds, and fifth in 2018 with a time of 47.10 seconds.

Individually, Gardner earned five All-American honors, including a fifth-place finish in the 200 meters at the 2016–17 NAIA Indoor Championships, sixth in the 60 meters at the 2017–18 NAIA Indoor Championships, and eighth-place finishes in the 60 meters and 200 meters indoors and the 100 meters and 200 meters outdoors during the 2017 and 2018 seasons. She also competed in eight additional NAIA Championship events, consistently placing among the nation’s top competitors.

Gardner helped lead the Saints to three top-10 team finishes at the national level and earned numerous WHAC accolades, including WHAC Newcomer of the Year at the 2017 Outdoor Championships and WHAC Indoor Most Outstanding Performer in 2017–18. She won four WHAC titles and collected multiple podium finishes throughout her career. Gardner holds four Siena Heights school records, including marks in the outdoor 200 meters and 4 × 100-meter relay, as well as the indoor 60 meters and 200 meters. She was also a WHAC All-Academic honoree, a member of the WHAC Champions of Character team, and part of the Hall of Fame 2016–17 Women’s Track & Field team.
