Brianna Pekel was a highly versatile runner for the Saints, competing in mid-distance events, relays, and cross country throughout her career. She earned five NAIA All-American honors, establishing herself as a cornerstone of Siena Heights’ nationally successful relay programs. Individually, Pekel earned All-American recognition with a sixth-place finish in the 600-meter run at the 2014–15 NAIA Indoor National Championships, posting a time of 1:34.10. She also qualified for the indoor 600 meters on two additional occasions, finishing 11th in 2013–14 and 19th in 2016–17.

Pekel earned three All-American honors as part of indoor relay teams, finishing third in the 4 × 400-meter relay at the 2017–18 NAIA Indoor Championships (3:51.95), fourth in the same event in 2016–17 (3:53.66), and fifth in the 4 × 800-meter relay at the 2014–15 NAIA Indoor Championships (9:15.45). Her fifth All-American honor came outdoors as part of the 4 × 400-meter relay that placed eighth at the 2018 NAIA Outdoor Championships.

Throughout her career, Pekel competed in seven additional NAIA National Championship relay events and helped lead the Saints to multiple top-10 team finishes, including fourth at the 2014–15 NAIA Indoor Championships. She won two WHAC championships and recorded numerous additional podium finishes. Pekel holds multiple Siena Heights school records, including indoor marks in the 600 meters, 4 × 400 relay, and 4 × 800 relay, as well as outdoor records in the 4 × 400 and 4 × 800 relays. She was also a three-time Academic All-WHAC honoree and a member of the Hall of Fame 2014–15 and 2016–17 Women’s Track & Field teams.
