Nicci Smith was a standout dual-sport student-athlete for the Saints, excelling in both volleyball and track & field. On the volleyball court, Smith finished her career as one of the most accomplished players in program history, graduating as the career leader with 893 kills and ranking among the program’s leaders in blocking categories.
In track & field, Smith earned NAIA All-American honors in the high jump with a fourth-place finish at the 2007–08 NAIA Indoor National Championships, clearing 1.65 meters. She also competed nationally in the pentathlon and long jump, showcasing her versatility. Smith was the runner-up in four WHAC Championship events. Smith’s athleticism and competitive excellence made her a standout across two sports.
