Mildrenae Young-Brooks was one of the most versatile athletes in Siena Heights track & field history, competing in sprints, hurdles, jumps, and relays. She earned five NAIA All-American honors, including individual podium finishes in the hurdles and multiple relay accolades. Young-Brooks placed third in the 60-meter hurdles at the 2018–19 NAIA Indoor Championships and fourth in the 100-meter hurdles at the 2019 NAIA Outdoor Championships.

She was also a key member of three All-American 4 × 100-meter relay teams that finished third in 2017, fifth in 2018, and fourth in 2019 while setting a school record. Young-Brooks qualified for fifteen additional NAIA National Championship events and helped lead the Saints to five top-10 team finishes. She won three WHAC titles and holds Siena Heights school records in the indoor and outdoor triple jump, as well as the outdoor 4 × 100-meter relay. She was also an Academic All-WHAC honoree, a member of the WHAC Champions of Character team, and part of the Hall of Fame 2015–16 and 2016–17 Women’s Track & Field teams.
