Two Saints Competitive Dancers Named NAIA Scholar Athletes

The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2026 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes.  The Siena Heights Competitive Dance Program had two student-athletes earn this distinction. 

In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.

Earning the award for the Saints was:

Lydia Kirk (2nd time), junior, musical theater major from Vanderbilt, Michigan

Kaya Robinson (1st time), senior, musical theater major from Sterling Heights, Michigan
