THE GAME
The 20th-ranked Siena Heights football team will visit defending national champ Grand View (Iowa) for a Mid-States Football Association crossover game on Nov. 14 for a 1 p.m. EST kickoff (12 p.m. CST). Third-ranked GVU has already clinched its second straight MSFA Midwest League championship while the Saints have claimed at least a share of the MSFA Mideast title.

THE SERIES
This is the third meeting between Siena Heights and Grand View. The Vikings have won the two previous contests.

GVU won the first game between the programs -- a 37-25 decision in Des Moines on Oct. 20, 2012. The following year, on Sept. 17, 2013, the Saints hosted the Vikings for their home opener; GVU won, 24-21.

THE COACHES
Jim Lyall (Michigan '74) is in his fourth season as head coach for Siena Heights, where he now has a 15-14 varsity record. He is 119-106-1 all-time as a collegiate varsity football coach. During SHU's 2011 club season, Lyall went 8-1. He was previously the head coach at Adrian, where he compiled a 103-92-1 varsity slate.

Mike Woodley (Northern Iowa) is in his seventh year as head coach for Grand View. He is 48-41 all-time as a collegiate varsity football coach, including a 54-23 mark for the Vikings. He was named 2013, 2011 and 2009 MSFA Midwest Coach of the Year. Prior to becoming Grand View's head coach, he was a head coach for Saint Ambrose (Iowa), an assistant for Iowa State and a graduate assistant for Iowa.
