Siena Heights wide receiver and kick returner DJ Young was named Mid-States Football Association Mideast League Special Teams Player of the Week by the league on Monday.

Young returned three kicks for a total of 120 yds and scored his third kick return touchdown of the season during Saturday's 61-24 victory over Judson.

With that performance, Young is now atop the Siena Heights record books for kick return touchdowns in a season and career. He has tied the record for in-game kick returns at 1.
