Siena Heights linebacker Clarke Hamilton was named Mid-States Football Association Mideast League Defensive Player of the Year, highlighting a haul of conference awards for the Saints' football team.
A total of five SHU players were named All-MSFA Mideast First Team while seven took Second Team honors and three were named Honorable Mention.
Hamilton led a quartet of First Team defenders. Fellow backer Jalen Edwards and linemen A.J. Knox and Greg Predina were listed on the First Team. Wide receiver Tendaji Alexander was the lone player from offense on First Team.
The Second Team had three from offense, three from defense and one special-teamer. That group included quarterback Braylen Himmelein, running back Jaylen Flowers and wide receiver Credell Prather. The three defenders were all DBs, Brevin Jackson, Kieran Jackson and Joe Nemecek. Return specialist Numehnne Gwilly was also selected
Honorable mentions included Brendan Haisenleder, Ian Furlong and Clifford Moore Jr.
Hamilton is now a three-time All-MSFA Mideast honoree. He was previously Second Team in 2023 and 2024.
Hamilton led the Saints in tackles (94) while ranking second in tackles-for-loss (14 1/2) and sacks (8). He added two forced fumbles and a fumble recovery. Career-wise, Hamilton ties for the school record with 37 1/2 TFLs while rating third in tackles (249), tied for third in forced fumbles (4) and tied for sixth in sacks (13).
Fellow LB Edwards was second on the team in tackles with 78 and fourth in both TFLs (8) and sacks (5). He had three forced fumbles and one recovery.
Knox led the team in TFLs and sacks with 17 1/2 and 10 1/2, respectively. The 10 1/2 sacks was a school record. He was fifth in tackles with 41 and also had two forced fumbles and one blocked kick. Knox finished tied for eighth in SHU history with 11 1/2 sacks.
Predina was third on the team with 8 1/2 TFLs and 5 1/2 sacks. He totaled 33 tackles. He finished second all-time in Siena Heights history with three kick-blocks -- all coming in 2025, a single-season record.
Alexander led the Saints in touchdown receptions (8) while rating second in receptions (42) and receiving yards (625). He finishes his SHU career tied for fifth with 11 receiving TDs, seventh in receiving yards (1,180) and ninth in receptions (83).
Second-Team WR Prather topped the team in receptions (44) and receiving yards (667). His six receiving TDs were No. 2 on the team. He finished his SHU career tied for third in receiving TDs (13), fourth in receiving yards (1,493), sixth in receptions (94), eighth in all-purpose yards (1,622) and 10th in points (86).
Himmelein completed 177 of 297 passes for school records of 2,415 yards and 19 touchdowns. Career-wise, he finishes fifth in passing yards (2,589), fifth in passing TDs (20) and sixth in completions (189).
Flowers had 70 rushes for 451 yards and three TDs. He also had five receptions for 51 yards. His 6.4-yard-per-carry mark is a school record.
Brevin Jackson tied for the team lead in interceptions (2). He had 42 tackles, fourth on the team, and 1 1/2 TFLs.
Kieran Jackson had 39 tackles, tying for sixth on the squad, to go with four TFLs and one INT.
Nemecek was third on the team with 60 tackles, including four for-loss. He also had two INTs, a forced fumble and fumble recovery.
Gwilly returned both kickoffs and punts in 2025, averaging 17.8 yards on kicks and 18.2 on punts. He finishes with the highest punt return average in school history (18.2), ties for punt-return TDs (2) and ranks fourth in yards (200).
Furlong, a punter, had 33 kicks for 1,310 yards (39.7 average). His long was 75. He put 12 punts inside-the-20 and four for 50-or-more yards.
Haisenleder led the squad in rushing TDs with nine. He finished 109 carries for 390 yards and nine receptions for 39 yards. He also completed 2 of 2 passes for nine yards and two TDs. He ranks third all-time in rushing TDs (16), fifth in rushing yards (1,464) and tied for seventh in points (86).
Moore, an offensive lineman, blocked for an offense that averaged 260 yards passing and 105.1 rushing for 37 TDs.
