TINTON, N.J. — The Saints capped off their 2026 Flag Football season with a championship performance, winning the National Collegiate Flag Football League (NCFFL) National Championship Tournament held May 2–3 in Tinton, New Jersey.

Dominant Start in Pool Play

The Saints opened Saturday's action with a statement victory, shutting out the College of Staten Island 26–0. In their second pool‑play matchup, the Saints battled in a tight contest but fell 13–12 to Villa Maria, setting up a high‑stakes path through Sunday's elimination rounds.

Championship Sunday: Three Wins, One Title

The Saints responded with resilience and focus on Sunday, delivering three straight wins to secure the national crown.

  • Quarterfinals: Saints defeated Penn West California 13–7, powered by a strong defensive effort.

  • Semifinals: In a highly anticipated rematch with Villa Maria, the Saints prevailed 22–14 in overtime, avenging Saturday's narrow loss.

  • Championship: Facing the College of Staten Island for the second time, the Saints once again shut them out, earning a 14–0 victory and the 2026 NCFFL National Championship.
