LIMA, Ohio -- Christian Covile had a double-double, finishing with 13 points and 16 rebounds, and Jamison Webster put in 16 points, but the Siena Heights men's basketball team ended up with a 70-57 loss to Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference opponent Northwestern Ohio on Saturday.
Jerrell Martin and Malachi Satterlee added 10 points apiece for the Saints (8-13, 4-9).
The contest was tied at 27-all at halftime and remained close until the host Racers (13-5, 9-3) exploded for a 13-point run in which Ed Jenkins scored nine.
After that, SHU trimmed its deficit to nine points with 2:34, but could not pull any closer.
Turnovers were a thorn in the Saints' sides once again as SHU committed 23.
Johnny Elliott had 19 points for UNOH while Jenkins compiled 17 points and five assists. Kermeriaz Harrington added six rebounds and Josh Scott had six of the Racers' 19 steals.
Siena Heights will return to action on Wednesday with a 7:30 p.m. WHAC road game against Cornerstone.
