DETROIT, Mich. -- Jerrell Martin and Nick Randle finished with 12 points each in the Siena Heights men's basketball team's 84-49 loss to Detroit on Saturday. The contest was an exhibition game for SHU and did not count against the team's overall record.
As a team, Detroit shot 47.3 percent from the field (35 of 74) while SHU was 27.9 percent (17 of 61). The Titans also held a 53-31 rebounding advantage.
Anton Wilson was Detroit's leading scorer with 20 points. Juwan Howard Jr. added 16 points and eight rebounds while Carlton Brundidge made seven assists.
The Saints will play their first regular season game on Tuesday with a 7 p.m. non-conference contest at Mount Vernon Nazarene (Ohio).
