ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's basketball team dropped its season opener to non-conference opponent Great Lakes Christian, 75-73, on Wednesday at the SHU Fieldhouse.

George Kalatzis led the Saints (0-1) with 19 points while Nick Sobush put in 18.

Siena Heights led 70-64 before a late-ending GLCC run flipped the script. A pair of Kalatzis free throws gave SHU its final lead at 73-71. The Crusaders scored the next four points, including the go-ahead basket with 1.7 seconds left.

The Saints will play next when Adrian College visits the SHU Fieldhouse on Wednesday, Nov. 12, for an 8 p.m. tip-off.
