STERLING HEIGHTS, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's bowling team placed ninth among 11 teams at the WHAC Michigan Open -- the third league event of the season -- at 5-Star Lanes.

Phillip Starr had a high series of 608; his top game was 233. He placed 20th.

Logan Cook eclipsed the 200-pin plateau twice with games of 201 and a team-high 236. He finished with a 601 series to tie for 26th.

Paul Scheuher added a 225 game.
