Siena Heights freshman Robert Kowalenko was named Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Men's Golfer of the Week, as announced by the league on Monday.

Kowalenko earned medalist honors, leading the Saints to a first-place finish in the season's first WHAC jamboree on Saturday, Sept. 6. He shot a two-under-par 70 on the 6,804-yard Eagle Crest Golf Club in Ypsilanti.

As a team, the Saints had a score of 303, followed by Davenport (305), Northwestern Ohio (309), Madonna (313), Indiana Tech (316), Lawrence Tech (322), Lourdes, Ohio (323), Cornerstone (331), Aquinas (358), Marygrove (363) and Concordia (inc.).
