ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's golf team begins the 2020-21 season at the Lawrence Tech Invitational held at the Washtenaw Golf Course in Ypsilanti, Mich. this Saturday, September 26.
The team returns five golfers from last year's squad including Senior Nate Hamilton (Plymouth, Mich.). The junior returners are Colin Duffy (Pinckney, Mich.) and Bryce Henderson (Canton, Mich.). Sophomores Davis Longyear (Stevensville, Mich.) and Michael Rampe Jr. (East Lansing, Mich.) return for this season as well. The SHU men's golf team also adds two newcomers in Junior Trent Moody (Monroe, Mich.) and freshman Drew Pitts (Hillsdale, Mich.).
Like the women's team, the Saints men will compete in five tournaments beginning with Saturday's Lawrence Tech invitational. Next, the team heads to Howell, Michigan to compete in the Cleary Invitational on Friday, October 2. Monday, October 5, is the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference (WHAC) Fall Preview at the Bedford Valley Golf Course in Battle Creek, Michigan. The following Monday (Oct. 12) the team plays in the Lourdes Invitational at the Sylvania Country Club before ending the fall season on Saturday, October 17 at the Defiance Invitational held at the Ironwood Golf Course in Wauseon, Ohio.
