The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team is ranked 23rd in the Men's Collegiate Lacrosse Association preseason poll, which was released on Wednesday. The Saints had ended the 2013 season as the No. 23 team in the MCLA.

The Saints had an 11-3 overall record in 2013, including a 2-2 slate in the Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association South Division. SHU advanced to the CCLA Tournament semifinals before falling to Indiana Tech, 11-5.

During the 2013 fall, Siena Heights won a pair of Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Tournament scrimmages to advance to the WHAC Tournament championship game, which is set to take place on Saturday, Apr. 19, at Davenport.

In 2014 league play, the Saints will compete in the CCLA North Division with Lawrence Tech, Michigan-Dearborn, Northwood and Oakland.
