ANN ARBOR, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's lacrosse team fell to fourth-ranked Grand Valley State, 8-1, in a Central Collegiate Lacrosse Association Tournament semifinal at Pioneer High School on Friday.
Tom Kreitzer scored in the third quarter for the Saints' only goal. SHU goaltender Ryan Mailloux had 19 saves while Jordan Martin picked up four groundballs.
Siena Heights (6-8) trailed 3-0 after one quarter and 4-0 at halftime. Through three periods, GVSU held a 6-1 advantage. In total, the two-seed Lakers (10-2) outshot six-seed Siena Heights, 30-23.
