A total of four Siena Heights men's soccer players were recognized as Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athletes, as announced by the NAIA today.
The honorees include juniors Lucas Hidalgo Carneiro, Collin McLaughlin, Alexandre Santos and Matt Vang.
Carneiro majors in business, while Santos is a chemical engineering major. McLaughlin is majoring in both education and social studies. Vang majors in nursing.
Carnerio, McLaughlin and Santos were also recognized as Academic All-WHAC honorees.
In order to be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status. A total of 382 men were recognized.
