Upcoming for Saints Men's Soccer Team: SHU opens with a home game in O'Laughlin Stadium against WHAC opponent Aquinas College, on Wednesday. Finishing up the week on Saturday, Siena travels to Sylvania, Ohio to take on the Lourdes University Gray Wolves
Head Coach: Andrew (Drew) Crawford enters his fifth season as the head coach of the Siena Heights men's soccer team. Crawford was named to the NAIA All-America Team in 1987 and 1988, was NAIA All-Region in 1986, 1987, and 1988, and was NAIA All-District in 1985, 1986, 1987, and 1988. Following his four years at SHU, Crawford had a 10-year professional career including two seasons in which he was a National Professional Soccer League all-star.
At Home: The Saints hold an overall record of 31-45-13 at home since 2011 and a WHAC record of 13-33-11 in O'Laughlin Stadium. The Saints home record for the year currently stands at 3-1-1.
On the Road: The SHU Men's Soccer Team got their first road win of the season last Wednesday in a 3-0 defeat against Rochester and will look to keep the momentum going as they travel to Lourdes on Saturday.
Last Week Recap: The Saints started off last week in search of their first road win of the year in a WHAC matchup against Rochester University. Siena jumped out to an early lead off of a Cam Gouin followed by later goals from Timm Castro and Alex Gregory to complete a 3-0 victory. Saturday, the Saints hosted #18 Indiana Tech and played a competitive match ultimately ending in a 2-0 defeat.
Series History:
Aquinas College: Since 2013, the Saints hold a record of 2-7 against Aquinas College with the last win coming in a 2-0 defeat in 2020.
Lourdes University: With a record of 2-5 against Lourdes since they've joined the conference, the Saints will look to win an important game in the standings for both teams.
