Upcoming for Saints Men's Soccer: The Saints currently sit in seventh place in the WHAC needing to finish in the top eight to make the conference playoffs. SHU will close the regular season out by hosting two games this week; Wednesday against the University of Michigan-Dearborn and Cleary University. A playoff berth is on the line this week as which the Saints have not been in the conference tournament since 2018.
Head Coach: Andrew (Drew) Crawford enters his fifth season as the head coach of the Siena Heights men's soccer team. Crawford was named to the NAIA All-America Team in 1987 and 1988, was NAIA All-Region in 1986, 1987, and 1988, and was NAIA All-District in 1985, 1986, 1987, and 1988. Following his four years at SHU, Crawford had a 10-year professional career including two seasons in which he was a National Professional Soccer League all-star.
At Home: The Saints hold an overall record of 32-45-13 at home since 2011 and a WHAC record of 14-33-11 in O'Laughlin Stadium. The Saints home record for the year currently stands at 4-1-1.
On the Road: SHU men's soccer will finish the season with a road record of 1-7 with the lone victory coming against Rochester University.
Last Week's Recap: The Saints started the week by hosting Aquinas College who defeated the Saints last season by a score of 7-0. Aquinas came into the match ranked fourth in the WHAC while Siena sat in eighth. The Saints would win the match by a score of 1-0 from a goal scored by Matheus Marote with just under 15 minutes to play. The Saints finished the week off being defeated by a score of 3-0 against Lourdes University.
Series History:
University of Michigan-Dearborn: The Saints are 2-4-3 against the Wolverines since 2013 with last year's match ending in a 1-1 tie.
Cleary University: SHU is 5-1-2 against Cleary since joining the conference but did not compete last season.
