Upcoming for Saints Men's Soccer Team: SHU Men's Soccer punched their ticket to the playoffs after defeating Cleary University 2-0 this past Saturday. The Saints will now travel to Madonna to take on the Crusaders in the WHAC Quarterfinals on Saturday, November 5th.
Head Coach: Andrew (Drew) Crawford enters his fifth season as the head coach of the Siena Heights men's soccer team. Crawford was named to the NAIA All-America Team in 1987 and 1988, was NAIA All-Region in 1986, 1987, and 1988, and was NAIA All-District in 1985, 1986, 1987, and 1988. Following his four years at SHU, Crawford had a 10-year professional career including two seasons in which he was a National Professional Soccer League all-star.
At Home: The Saints hold an overall record of 33-46-13 at home since 2011 and a WHAC record of 15-34-11 in O'Laughlin Stadium. The Saints home record for the year currently stands at 5-2-1.
On the Road: SHU's regular season record on the road was 1-7 with the previous matchup this year against Madonna on the road.
Last Week's Recap: The Saints hosted the Wolverines of Michigan-Dearborn last Wednesday with both teams fighting for a playoff spot. After a back-and-forth game, The Saints fell 2-1 to the Wolverines and headed into Saturday needing a win to make the playoffs. After a 2-0 win over Cleary, the Saints punched their ticket to the playoffs.
