MOUNT VERNON, Ohio -- The Siena Heights men's soccer team suffered a 6-0 loss to non-conference opponent Mount Vernon Nazarene on Wednesday.
The host Cougars scored in the third minute and eventually took a 2-0 edge into halftime.
SHU goalkeepers Yuriy Tukalevskyy and Trevor Meyer split time, making five saves each.
Mount Vernon outshot the Saints, 27-13.
Siena Heights will return to action on Saturday with a 1 p.m. game at non-conference Indiana-East.
