ADRIAN, Mich.-- The Siena Heights men's soccer team faltered in its home opener in a 5-0 loss to non-conference opponent Albion on Wednesday night.
The contest was deadlocked at 0-0 until Albion scored in the 41st minute and took control of the match in the second half.
SHU goalie Yuriy Tukalevskyy totaled five saves. In the 83rd minute, Trevor Meyer subbed in for Tukalevskyy. Meyer totaled two saves.
Albion outshot Siena 16-10.
Siena Heights will return to play Saturday, Sept, 20, opening WHAC play at home against Defiance. Game time is 4 p.m.
