Randolph Wins Triple Jump as Men's T&F Opens Indoor Season at SVSU

UNIVERSITY CENTER, Mich. -- Calvin Randolph placed first in the triple jump as the Siena Heights men's indoor track and field team opened its season at the Saginaw Valley Invitational on Friday and Saturday.

Randolph had a winning distance of 44 feet, 8 3/4 inches (13.63 meters). Teammate Kaleb Pfaffinger finished sixth with a 33-11 1/2 (10.35m).

Pole vaulters Alan Alston and Caleb Greear tied for third as both cleared 14-4 1/2 (4.38m).

Blake Schroeder was fourth in the 800-meter run in 1:56.89 while Jacob Buchanan followed in fifth with a 1:57.31.

Tyler Landis ran to fourth in the 3,000 with a 9:04.88.

Devonta Habern placed fifth in the high jump with a height of 6-2 (1.88m).

Elijah Collins was eighth in the weight throw with a toss of 52-11 1/2 (16.14m).
