The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2025 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The Siena Heights Men's Track and Field Program had nine student-athletes earn this distinction.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.
Earning the award for the Saints was:
Nathan Brewer (1st time), sophomore, business administration major and data analytics minor from Royal Oak, Michigan
Jacob Buchanan (1st time), sophomore, psychology major from Onsted, Michigan
John Buchanan (1st time), sophomore, accounting major and finance minor from Onsted, Michigan
Jordan Harris (2nd time), senior, psychology major from Detroit, Michigan
Gabriel Iott (2nd time), junior, exercise science major from Monroe, Michigan
Tyler Landis (2nd time), senior, business management major and project administration minor from Homer, Michigan
Nethanel Leupold (3rd time), junior, electrical engineering major from Palmyra, Michigan
Alexander Nylaan (2nd time), senior, history major from Sparta, Michigan
Luke VanAssche (1st time), sophomore, biology major from Romulus, Michigan
