Men's 4x800 Finishes Up Indoor Season

GAINESVILLE, Fla. -- The Siena Heights men's 4x800-meter relay team finished up indoor competition with a 16th-place finish at the NAIA Indoor Track and Field Championships, which are taking place at the Alachua County Sports and Events Center.

The Saints' foursome of Blake Schroeder, Henry Frederick, Tyler Landis and Kyler Pequet had a time of 7:47.67 and finished fifth among the heat-one teams. During that heat, Park (Mo.) smashed the facility record with a 7:29.18. A total of 22 teams competed in the 4x800.

Kolby Masserant began competition in the heptathlon, competing across the first four stages of the seven-stage event. He sits 13th in the 16-man field with 2,505 points.

Masserant was sixth-best in the field in the 60-meter dash with a time of 7.24 seconds.
