ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's volleyball team opened its season on Friday, dropping a 3-0 decision to Lakeland (Wis.) in non-conference action at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Gilius Blinstrubas had eight kills for the Saints (0-1), who dropped sets by scores of 25-19, 25-15 and 25-21. Zak Krug added 13 assists and six digs for the home team.

Brett Kaczmarek and Alec Redlich had nine and eight kills, respectively, for the Muskies (1-1). Dayton Erickson had 18 assists, Tyler Boyce made 14 assists, and Kyle Krogstad finished with 10 digs.

Siena Heights will be in action again on Saturday, Jan. 24, with a 7 p.m. match against Cincinnati Christian (Ohio).
