The Siena Heights men's volleyball team is set for travel to the 2017 NAIA Independents Men's Volleyball Qualifying Tournament that will take place on April 7 and April 8.

SHU enters the tournament as the No. 2 team on the east region of the bracket, along with sixth-ranked Lourdes (Ohio). Other teams competing will be west region schools Benedictine-Mesa (Ariz.), the tournament host, and UC-Merced (Calif.).

In the first round, Siena Heights will take on Benedictine-Mesa on Friday, April 7, at 12 p.m. The tournament is set up as a double-elimination style tournament.

Admission into the event will be $7 for adults, $5 for seniors 60+ and free for children 12 & under and students with a student ID.
