MISHAWAKA, Ind. -- Sam Parlette and Brett Smith finished second and third, respectively, to lead the Siena Heights men's cross country team to a second-place finish at the Bethel (Ind.) Invitational on Friday.

Parlette crossed the finish line in 26:31 while Smith came in at 26:38.

Justin Bateson took eighth with a 26:45, Mark Haukereid was 32nd with a 28:16, and Parker Saenz placed 35th with a 28:23.
