Siena Heights men's cross country runner Matthew Robinet was recognized as a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete, as announced by the NAIA on Tuesday.
Robinet is a fifth-year senior who has competed for the SHU men's soccer, track & field, and cross country teams.
In order to be nominated for the award, a student-athlete must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale and must have achieved a junior academic status. A total of 210 men were recognized.
