EAST LANSING, Mich. -- The Siena Heights men's cross country team participated in the Spartan Invitational on Friday at Michigan State.
Kyler Pequet led the Saints, finishing in 200th place out of 305 runners. He ran the 8-kilometer course in 28 minutes and 11 seconds.
Siena Heights faced some major opponents, competing against BIG10 schools like Purdue, Rutgers, Ohio State, Indiana, and Michigan State. As a team, out of the 16 teams that participated, the Saints took 16th place.
Siena Heights will return to action on Friday, Sept. 26, as it hosts the final Siena Heights Invitational.
