Siena Heights women's basketball player Sierra Calhoun was recognized by the Women's Basketball Coaches Association as an All-America Honorable Mention.
Calhoun, a senior guard who was named All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference First Team, set three SHU single-season records: points (616), field goals (214) and made free throws (149). She also had the third-best points-per-game average in school history (18.12).
Calhoun was named All-WHAC First Team and All-WHAC Defensive Team for the second consecutive year. A year ago, she was named NAIA All-America Honorable Mention before claiming NAIA All-America Second Team honors in 2014-15.
Within NAIA Division II, Calhoun rated 10th in total points and 21st in points per gam. During the WHAC Tournament semifinals, she scored a school-record 41 points during SHU's 95-87 overtime victory over Madonna.
