The Wolverine Hoosier Athletic Conference Named Siena Heights Senior Sha'kyia Parker as the women's basketball player of the week for the week ending November 13, 2022.

Parker led the Saints to two wins including an upset win on the road to open up conference play over Indiana Tech.

Parker led all scorers at Indiana Tech with 28 points to help the Saints come away with the 77-74 upset win over the 24th rated team in the country.  She followed up that with a 12 point performance in limited minutes in a blowout win over Aquinas by a score of 83-45.

Coach Sue Syljebeck had this to say, "Shaq has consistently worked hard to develop her game.  She has stepped up her level of play and is on a mission of success this year."

The Saints are off to a 4-0 start on the season and will play their home opener on Wednesday against Lourdes with a tip-off at 6:00 pm.
