The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the Women's Basketball 2023 Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes. The Saints had eight student-athletes team earn this distinction.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.
Earning the award for the Saints was:
Eva Alcock (2nd time), junior, accounting major from Tecumseh, Michigan
Peyton Banks (3rd time), senior, early childhood education major from Wadsworth, Ohio
Jillian Gelso (2nd time), junior, nursing major from Ida, Michigan
Hadley Gratz (2nd time), junior, exercise science major and psychology minor from Carleton, Michigan
Jenna Harrison (1st time), sophomore, accounting major from Kent City, Michigan
Emma Tooley (1st time), sophomore, exercise science/pre-med major from Holly, Michigan
E'Anna Won (2nd time), junior, engineering major from Saipan, Northern Mariana Islands
Rebecca Zilka (3rd time), senior, marketing major and communications minor from Gibraltar, Michigan
