Siena Heights basketball players Peyton Banks and Sha'kyia Parker were named to the All-WHAC First Team while Kayla Hinton was selected to the Second Team, as announced by the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference.
Banks became the Saints' all-time leading scorer for basketball, both men and women, while playing her fourth consecutive First Team season.
Banks, a senior, led the team in rebounds (7.7 per game), field-goal percentage (.540), free-throw percentage (.873) and 3-point percentage (.433). Her average of 17.4 points per game ranked second on the SHU roster behind Parker.
Parker, a two-time All-WHAC First Team player, led the Saints with 17.8 points per game. She and Hinton tied for the team lead in steals per game with 1.7.
Hinton averaged 12.0 points per game. She and Parker were among only three Saints to play in all 30 contests to date.
Siena Heights had eight players named to the Academic All-WHAC Team. They were Banks, E'Anna Won, Eva Alcock, Olivia DeLong, Jillian Gelso, Hadley Gratz, Jenna Harrison, Cam Tripp and Rebecca Zilka.
DeLong was also honored on the WHAC Champions of Character Team.
