ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team held off Olivet Nazarene for an 85-84 victory in non-conference action Saturday at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Lauren DeWolf led the Saints (2-0) in scoring with 31 points while E'Moni Finch totaled 26 points, eight rebounds and five assists.

Jam Thigpen had her second straight double-double with 12 points, 16 rebounds and three steals.

SHU took the lead for good in the first quarter, using a nine-point run to take a 19-11 edge. Finch had five points and Thigpen put in four during that stretch.

Siena Heights' largest lead was 65-52. The visiting Tigers (2-2) pulled 75-73 and 77-75, but SHU had an answer each time.

ONU closed the deficit to one point with a buzzer-beater.

Siena Heights will play next on Wednesday when it hosts cross-town rival Adrian for a 6 p.m. contest.
