ADRIAN, Mich. -- The Siena Heights women's basketball team dropped a 52-51 contest to cross-town rival Adrian on Wednesday at the SHU Fieldhouse.

Lauren DeWolf scored 21 points to lead SHU (2-1) while Kanyla Tyler contributed 16 points and five rebounds. Jam Thigpen added 14 rebounds and five steals.

Siena Heights led 51-50 in the final minute, but the visiting Bulldogs hit a layup with three seconds remaining. SHU's final possession led to a desperation heave which missed the mark.

Siena Heights will return to action Wednesday, Nov. 19, at Cornerstone.
