ROCHESTER HILLS, Mich. — The Siena Heights women's basketball team fell 61-50 to Rochester Christian in Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference play on Wednesday night.
The Saints (5-7, 4-5 WHAC) led 28-27 at the break after a strong first half that included nine points from Lauren DeWolf and six from Ty'Veonna Davis. Siena Heights built its largest lead at six points midway through the second quarter, but Rochester Christian answered with a 19-13 third period and pulled away in the fourth.
DeWolf finished with a team-high 13 points, hitting three 3-pointers, while Davis added 13 points and seven rebounds. Jam Thigpen anchored the paint with nine points and a game-high 14 rebounds. Off the bench, E'Moni Finch provided a spark with two second-half 3-pointers for six points.
