ADRIAN, Mich. — The Siena Heights women's basketball team mounted a late rally but couldn't overcome Lourdes' balanced attack, falling 81-70 in a Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference contest Saturday afternoon at the SHU Fieldhouse.
The Saints (5-8, 4-6) trailed by as many as 18 in the second half but cut the deficit to single digits in the final minutes behind Ty'Veonna Davis, who scored a team-high 21 points and grabbed 12 rebounds. Davis went a perfect 10-for-10 at the free-throw line and added four steals to spark the comeback effort.
Lauren DeWolf chipped in 16 points, including three 3-pointers, while Kanyla Tyler added 14 points and four assists. E'Moni Finch provided a lift off the bench with seven points and three rebounds.
