ADRIAN, Mich. -- Jam Thigpen powered the Siena Heights women's basketball team with 21 points and 15 rebounds, delivering a double-double as the Saints defeated Michigan-Dearborn, 72-61, on Saturday.

Thigpen shot 8‑for‑13 from the field and added three assists and two steals while anchoring a Siena Heights interior attack that produced 34 points in the paint and 23 second‑chance points.

Ty'Veonna Davis had 19 points and 10 rebounds for a double‑double of her own. Lauren DeWolf added 19 points. Siena Heights shot 55.6 percent in the third quarter to flip the game after trailing 18–11 at the end of the first.

After entering halftime tied 29–29, Siena Heights erupted for a 26‑4 third‑quarter surge. The Saints went 24‑for‑31 at the stripe overall, including 10‑for‑12 from Davis.
