ADRIAN, Mich. — Lauren DeWolf scored 22 points and the Siena Heights women's basketball team held off a late rally to defeat WHAC opponent Lawrence Tech 64–61 on Wednesday night at the SHU Fieldhouse.
DeWolf finished with four 3‑pointers and led three Siena Heights players in double-figures. Ty'Veonna Davis added 14 points with six rebounds, and Jam Thigpen posted eight points and 16 rebounds to anchor the Saints inside.
The Saints led for much of the contest but had to survive a final push after Lawrence Tech erased a six‑point deficit in the closing minutes. Siena Heights answered with strong interior play down the stretch, including a clutch bucket by Jam Thigpen with just over a minute remaining to break a late tie.
Siena Heights carried a 38–32 lead into halftime and pushed the advantage to as many as 16 points in the third quarter behind DeWolf's shooting and second‑chance opportunities created by Thigpen on the glass.
Lawrence Tech made its move in the fourth quarter, using perimeter shooting to pull even late, but the Saints closed the game at the free‑throw line to secure the win.
