FORT WAYNE, Ind. -- Ashley Everett tied for 12th individually and Andrea Richards placed 14th as the Siena Heights women's golf team finished fifth at the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference Championships, which wrapped up Tuesday at Coyote Creek Country Club.
Everett had a two-day total of 171 (87-84) on the 5,994-yard par-72 layout. Richards added a 174 (84-90) for the Saints, who finished with a team score of 706 (348-358).
Also for Siena Heights, Sydney Gossett tied for 21st with a 180 (87-93) while Andrea Rumler (93-91) and Alyssa Fausneaucht (90-94) tied for 25th with 184s.
Jessa Rappleye added a 32nd-place performance for SHU, carding a two-day 190 (93-97).
Indiana Tech won the team championship with a 649 and was followed, in order, by Madonna (657), Aquinas (692), Davenport (700), Siena Heights, Lourdes (758), Northwestern Ohio (835), Cornerstone (862) and Concordia (inc.).
A total of 45 golfers from nine schools competed. Indiana Tech's Wiebke Schlender was the medalist as she finished with a two-round 154 (77-77).
