JACKSON, Mich. -- Andrea Rumler tied for medalist honors, leading the Siena Heights women's golf team to a first-place finish at the Spring Arbor Fall Invitational. A total of 44 golfers from seven teams competed at Cascades Golf Course.
Rumler fired an 83 on the 5,831-yard, par-72 course. Jessa Rappleye was fourth with an 86 and Ashlyn Samples tied for seventh with an 89.
Also scoring for the Saints, Ashley Carney tied for 11th with a 92.
SHU had a team score of 350 and was followed, in order, by Northwestern Ohio (361), Cleary (364), Indiana Wesleyan (379), Spring Arbor (387), Saint Mary-of-the-Woods, Ind. (392) and Rochester (396).
Saint Mary's Sloane Engle tied Rumler atop the leaderboard with an 83.
The Saints will wrap up their fall season -- and their WHAC regular season -- when they host the Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference's fifth jamboree on Saturday, Oct. 11, at Lenawee Country Club.
