JACKSON, Mich. -- Medalist Alyssa Fausneaucht led the Siena Heights women's golf team to a dominating win at the Spring Arbor Co-Ed Invitational, which took place Friday and Saturday at Cascades Golf Course. Results were not immediately available on Saturday.
Fausneaucht had a two-round total of 162 (80-82), leading a quintet of SHU competitors to finish 1-2-3-5-6.
Runner-up Sydney Gossett had a 164 (83-81) while third-place performer Andrea Richards carded a 165 (85-80).
Also for the Saints, Lauren Cojei finished with a 173 (85-88) and Andrea Rumler shot a 177 (88-89).
Siena Heights smashed its competition in team scoring, compiling a two-round 664 (333-331). Cleary was second with a 758 (365-393), followed by Rochester 781 (398-383), Spring Arbor 788 (387-401) and Albion 860 (430-430).
The Saints will return to action on Friday and Saturday at the Indiana Wesleyan Spring Invitational.
