The National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) has announced the 2024 Women's Golf Daktronics NAIA Scholar-Athletes award. The Siena Heights Women's Golf Program had six student-athletes earn this distinction.
In order to be nominated for the NAIA Scholar-Athlete, an individual must maintain a minimum grade point average of 3.5 on a 4.0 scale, must appear on the eligibility certificate for the sport, and have attended one full year.
Earning the award for the Saints was:
Leah LaFleur (1st time), sophomore, general engineering major from Brandon, Michigan
Megan Paczas (3rd time), senior, elementary education major from St. Clair Shores, Michigan
Josilyne Schanz (1st time), sophomore, nursing major from Clinton, Michigan
Brooke Strand (1st time), sophomore, business administration with accounting major from Brighton, Michigan
Skylar Whitman (2nd time), junior, graphic design major from Fort Wayne, Indiana
Chloe Zeolla (1st time), sophomore, exercise science major from Shelby Township, Michigan
