KANSAS CITY -- The Siena Heights women's lacrosse team was selected as one of the four At-Large selections to the 2021 National Association of Intercollegiate Athletics (NAIA) Women's Lacrosse Championship Bracket. The playoff is scheduled to take place at Memorial Stadium in Savannah, Ga., on May 5-8. The Saints will face Keiser (Fla.) in the opening round on Wednesday, May 5 at 10:00 a.m.
Siena Heights qualified for the NAIA National Invitational in 2018 for the first time in program history (this is the first year that women's lacrosse is an invitational sport for the NAIA).
This year's field includes four automatic qualifiers and four at-large bids. The automatic qualifiers were determined by the conference/group tournament winners or the highest-ranked team in the conference/group depending on the league. The remaining at-large bids were determined by a selection committee.
The NAIA Network – the association's official video-streaming home – will broadcast all matches excluding the semifinals and championship matches live at the 2021 NAIA Women's Lacrosse National Championship. The video platform, powered by Stretch Internet, allows users access to live video, statistics, and social interaction on a number of devices, including mobile. Single-day passes can be purchased for $4.95, while a championship pass is $9.95.
