Women's Lacrosse

Mackenzy Hickner will return for her second year as an assistant coach for the Saints' women's lacrosse program. As a student-athlete, she played two seasons of lacrosse and four seasons of soccer for Siena Heights.

As a lacrosse player, Hickner appeared in 29 games and finished with 39 goals and 11 assists (50 points). She also had 92 ground balls, 66 draw controls and 39 caused turnovers. Hickner was an Academic All-National Women's Lacrosse League honoree in 2012 and an Academic All-Wolverine-Hoosier Athletic Conference award-winner in 2013.

On the soccer pitch, Hickner received accolades for her on-field play in 2010, 2011 and 2012. She was an All-WHAC Second Team performer in 2010 and an All-WHAC honorable mention in both 2011 and 2012. Hickner also earned Academic All-WHAC honors as a junior and senior; she was a Daktronics-NAIA Scholar-Athlete as a senior as well.

Statistically, Hickner appeared in 80 soccer matches and compiled 19 goals and 14 assists.

Hickner graduated from SHU with a Bachelor's degree in Language Arts. She plans to teach language arts and mathematics at the middle school level.
