Cheney, Stenzel Honored as USC All-Americans

Siena Heights women's soccer players Parker Cheney and MacKenzie Stenzel were named USC All-Americans, as announced by United Soccer Coaches on Wednesday.

Cheney, a midfielder, and Stenzel, a defender, were selected to the USC All-America Second Team. They had already received honors on the conference level as All-WHAC First Team performers in 2023. Cheney was the WHAC Midfielder of the Year. The pair were among 10 Saints to play in all 22 contests.

Cheney was the Saints' team leader in all major offensive categories: goals (10), assists (6) and points (26). Her five game-winning goals tied for seventh-most in a SHU single season.

Stenzel made her impact at the other end of the field, helping the Saints' back-line to 13 shutouts and eight one-goal games. As a team, SHU had a goals-against average of 0.45 in nearly 2,000 minutes of action. The Saints allowed 10 goals in 22 games.
